To free up more room in the engine bay Rich convinced me to move the battery to the trunk. And once I get the car back together you will see just how much room it freed up for me to fill back up with other stuff that needed more room.

I purchased the battery box from Jegs and I gotta say that it is a really nice high quality box.

Rich did all of the major work while he sent me out to get parts and tools to finish the job.

Now that is a big drill bit.

Rich was thuroghly enjoying pulling my interior out and chucking it on the neighbors lawn.

Just a few tools were required to reinstall the new manifold.

As you can see there is quite a bit more room now that the battery is moved. Once I get all of the hoses consolidated and get the coolant lines sorted out it will look even better.

You know that it has been a long time since you have driven a car or opened car door when a tree has started to grow in the door jamb. I found this tree growing in the passengers side door which I had not opened since January. Had I not found the tree chances are it could have grown out the top of the hole it was growing in and I would have noticed it then.
